Field Trip 5: CMPC El Cóndor Park


The field trip will take place at Parque CMPC El Cóndor, located on Cerro Negro, approximately 13 km from the city center of Coyhaique, in the Aysén Region.

The park is part of the Bosque Vivo CMPC initiative and includes native lenga forests, managed forest areas, and designated trails used for recreational and educational purposes.

The visit will include walks along established trails, offering an opportunity to learn about forest conservation, landscape management, and the role of these areas in ecosystem services such as soil protection, carbon storage, and biodiversity conservation.
